International Research in the Field of Management and Organization-III
This book consists of five chapters that examine organizations from different yet complementary perspectives. The chapters have been organized to provide readers with a holistic framework, moving from conceptual foundations to contemporary organizational debates. The first chapter introduces the concept of organizational DNA, which explains the distinctive structural and functional codes of organizations and thereby establishes the theoretical foundation of the volume. The following chapter addresses collective responsibility within a strategic framework, emphasizing its critical role in enabling organizations to act in pursuit of shared goals. The third chapter explores communication processes in multinational and multicultural work environments through the lens of systems theory.
The subsequent chapters focus more explicitly on the new managerial dynamics facing contemporary organizations. In this context, algorithmic management is examined with reference to digital work regimes, control mechanisms, and its implications for organizational behavior. The final chapter discusses how individuals and organizations can be strengthened in relation to environmental awareness and sustainability goals through the concept of green psychological capital, which brings together insights from positive psychology and sustainability research.
In this respect, the book draws on the explanatory power of classical organizational theories while also addressing contemporary issues such as digitalization, cultural diversity, strategic integration, and sustainability from an organizational behavior perspective. Accordingly, the volume aims not only to provide a platform for academic discussion, but also to serve as a useful resource for scholars, graduate students, and practitioners.
